During
its 25 years of operations, Maternity Alliance championed maternity and equalities. The
organisation closed in 2005.
Maternity Action was
established in 2008 and will take forward the work of Maternity Alliance as well as responding to new and emerging
needs amongst pregnant women, new mothers and their families.
